About The Imagi🌈Nation

The Imagi🌈Nation is a colourful, screen-free, role play experience designed for toddlers, preschoolers and early age primary explorers - plus their tiniest tagalongs and grown-ups!

We create immersive, themed play spaces like a supermarket, café, animal hospital, salon and more - all designed to spark creativity, confidence and community spirit.

We're currently based upstairs in Lyons Department Store, right in the centre of Sligo Town.

Tiny tagalongs are welcome too! Pre-walkers can join older siblings or explore gentler areas.

Adults stay on site - but with little ones immersed in imaginative play, you might even enjoy a warm cuppa and a moment to pause.

Want The ImagiNation all to yourselves?

We offer 90-minute private hire sessions. Perfect for birthdays, school starter socials, family get-togethers or class outings.

You’ll get exclusive use of the play space, full setup before you arrive and a digital invite to share with your guests.

Introductory rate €200 for up to 12 children, with optional extras available.

Are you building a permanent play centre?

Not quite! The Imagi🌈Nation is a pop-up experience - we transform community spaces, vacant shops and hotel venues into a magical mini play village. We’d love a permanent space one day, but for now we’re located upstairs in Lyons Department Store in the heart of Sligo Town!

Do I have to stay the whole time or is it supervised?

Yes - The Imagi🌈Nation is grown-up supervised, so you stay and play too. It’s a lovely chance to join in… or sit back while they take the lead and entertain themselves!

What age group is it best suited for?

The Imagi🌈Nation is designed for toddlers to 7 years, though older siblings and younger babies are welcome too!

Will there be dress-up clothes?

Of course! From aprons to uniforms to hard hats, we’ll include a mix of props and dress-up to bring each station to life!

Is it messy? Should my child wear old clothes?

Not at all! There’s no slime, water or paint — just imaginative role / pretend play. Everyday clothes are perfect.

How long is each session?

We have increased the sessions from 60 minutes to 75 minutes. Long enough to explore, play and get comfy in the space.

Is there a price guide available?

It's €15 per child which includes one free adult. Siblings are a 33% reduction at €10 and additional adults are €5. We’re aiming to keep prices fair, family-friendly and in line with similar play sessions for under-7s. Babies and Pre-crawlers joining older siblings can come along for free.
